Salba seeds are the latest trend in health foods. They reduce lactic acid build-up which helps eliminate cramping and burning after working out. Studies show that salba seeds have eight times more Omega-3 fatty acids than salmon, 70 percent more vegetable protein than soy, 30 percent more antioxidants than blueberries, 25 percent more fiber than flax seeds, 6 times more calcium than milk, 15 times more magnesium than broccoli and twice the potassium of bananas.
These bars are kosher, gluten free, vegan and and do not use GMO ingredients. The taste is excellent and although the price is a bit higher than other bars, the quality and taste are worth it.

Organic Golden Smackers patties are made without any sugar or preservatives. If you are looking for a snack without wheat or corn, or looking for something relatively healthy for your kids, then this may be a bar worth trying. It’s made with cocoa and sesame seeds — all organic and rich in minerals and vitamins.
The patty can satisfy your appetite for couple hours, and is a great source of fiber and protein. The calories in this bar are not bad at about 180 calories for bar. However, there are a lot of sweeteners in this bar, including cane sugar, agave nectar and brown rice syrup so be sure you’re going to be burning this energy throughout the day.

The boomi bar is a very heathy bar, is made with just a few ingredients, and the taste is not lacking. The bar is hand made, gluten free, and has no artificial ingredients such as sweeteners, preservatives, or whiteners. The bar gives you long-lasting energy for a workout and can be used as a meal replacement from time to time.
What I like about this bar is that it’s super simple. It has only a few ingredients and they are all functional and taste great. This is not rocket science! This is a simple, great tasting, healthy food bar for a decent price.
