The taste is awesome, the texture of the seeds is similar to flax seeds. This bar is sweet but not sugary and the berries give the bar a tart, berry taste. You cannot taste the acai per se, but rather a mix of berries.

If you are looking for a snack without wheat or corn, or looking for something relatively healthy for your kids, then this may be a bar worth trying. It’s made with cocoa and sesame seeds — all organic and rich in minerals and vitamins.
The patty can satisfy your appetite for couple hours, and is a great source of fiber and protein. The calories in this bar are not bad at about 180 calories for bar. However, there are a lot of sweeteners in this bar, including cane sugar, agave nectar and brown rice syrup so be sure you’re going to be burning this energy throughout the day.
