The Amazing Grass Green SuperFood bars are really amazing bars. The chocolate one has plenty of dark chocolate and the taste is rich, chewing, and real. If you need a complete and healthy snack or even a booster for your exercises routine, this is a good choice. I ate one bar for the first time and had a noticeable energy boost. The formula has laxative ingredients, energetics, fatty acids, antioxidants, cleansers and enzymes that are good for your body and mind. They are sweetend with agave nectar and organic dates, and are rich in carotenoids and vitamins.

The bar has 220 calories and costs about $1.99, making it fairly high (but not outrageous) on both counts.

Taste

The taste is sweet, but not sugary, the chocolate is strong but not bitter. There is a definite taste of green superfood in the mix, which is just slightly grassy and slightly sour. Overall, it has a nutty taste and a chewy texture. Like many bars that contain greens and oats, it becomes a little slimy in your mouth as you chew.

Pros

Great health benefits from the green superfood contents. The taste is not bad considering all the healthy benefits of this product.

Cons

It’s one of the more expensive bars because of the rich ingredient list. The taste and texture are not exceptional. Calories are on the high side.
